Controversial “Don’t Say Gay” Bill Debated In MO House « CBS St. Louis

Controversial “Don’t Say Gay” Bill Debated In MO House « CBS St. Louis.

This is ridiculous.  There would be a law that would prohibit, not only education related to laws and Supreme Court Cases related to gay rights, it would also chill the educational process by not allowing important open discussion related to current issues; prohibit schools from stopping bullying based on sexual orientation, and basically set up a system that encourages people to be ashamed of their sexual orientation in a time where children are most vulnerable.  This is sad and I hope it never sees the light of day.  Now might be a good time to email a state rep…not that they listen very often..

‘Arizona v. United States’ in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Excellent article because it clearly explains what the legal issues are surrounding the Arizona Law SB1070 and the similar laws that have sprung up all over the country.  Below is a link to a pdf that briefs the issues.
