Mitt Romney Announces Support of Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach | Mitt Romney for President.

“Illegal immigration is a nightmare for America’s economy and America’s national security. Mitt Romney is the candidate who will finally secure the borders and put a stop to the magnets, like in-state tuition, that encourage illegal aliens to remain in our country unlawfully. He is also the candidate who will stand shoulder to shoulder with the states that are fighting to restore the rule of law. I am pleased to stand with this true conservative.”  Says Kobach when enforcing Mitt…Is he really serious?  Is he really saying that the fact that some states will give undocumented youth in-state tuitions to public universities if the kid lived in the state for a certain period of time and graduated from a high school in that state is what draws people to come to the United States illegally.  Are you freaking kidding me?

Is he really suggesting that the highland Guatemalan share cropper who speaks Quiche better than Spanish and can barely write his name or the Mexican farmer from the campo packed up his family, traveled across the country to the US-Mexican border, either braved the walk through the desert or paid a Cartel controlled coyote, who is just as likely to kidnap or kill you as actually deliver you to the other side,  to smuggled himself and his kids across the border and then traveled to places like Kansas or Texas, because he somehow was enticed here by the promise that his undocumented kids could attend college in that state at the in state tuition cost if they managed to live there undetected for the time that it took for the kids to graduate from a high school in that state and come up with the money to pay for college?  How did that happen you think, maybe he hopped on the internet to research which states had those laws currently and then did a little analysis on the current political trends in that state to assess the likelihood of that law still actually being a law by the time his kids graduated?  That is for sure what happened to draw all of the 11 million undocumented people to the United States.
